Just when I think David Bowie can't get any cooler, it turns out he wrote the music to like half of Lust for Life, including the title track, which will now be stuck in my head for days. Oh and look, there's Iggy in the background vocals to Low. I know, I know, I should've been raised in a cave on Mars and then I would've figured it out sooner. But still, yay music! And now I will be going back to my semi-regularly scheduled breakfast (let me know if you figure that out; I'm still working on it myself).

perhaps your post influenced my dream, but, i had this bizarre dream where i was flying this jacket-shaped kite thing which had something to do with a david bowie song, like it came with the album or something. and then my friend timmeh comes by and he helps me figure out how to turn the kite into two big hang glider things, and we go fly aronud the inside of this big building, but there're ducts and wires and stuff everywhere so that's tricky.
so i realize the david bowie connection is tenuous, but it is there, dammnit ;-)
