Nov. 27th, 2005 02:28 pmHappy Birthday bloodyaussie and
tornadogrrrl!
And now to work, because it is a coworker's birthday as well and I am covering her shift.
Possibly last, but hopefully not least....
Jul. 6th, 2005 10:31 pmHappy Birthday, Peter!
It's been a good day, I think. Good haul of presents, family visiting, delicious dinner at Ta Ra Rin aka ThaiHop, followed by Batman Begins, which was quite enjoyable. Highlights included pretty much all the acting except Katie freaking Holmes, but if I squint real hard I can pretend she was comic relief. After all, the moral of her arc seems to have been "Gee, Bruce, now that it turns out you don't suck, I don't like you anymore." Also, her nipples? Totally an homage to those godawful Batsuit-nipples from the movie(s) we're trying to forget about. Yeah. My only other significant complaint is about the fight scenes? Ouchie. Hard to watch, let alone tell what is going on. Christopher Nolan clearly still has a bit to learn about that. But I digress.
Happy Birthday, Peter!
Love,
-Tracy

May. 26th, 2005 10:52 amHappy Birthday, theshytiger!
As a small token of our affection, Peter and I didn't eat all the CSA strawberries. Also, at some point in the not-too-distant future there should be drinking and sugary treats.
Update, 11:20: You just missed a call on your cell phone.
In which I am a party pooper.
Mar. 31st, 2005 11:26 pmI don't like April Fools Day. As far as I'm concerned the so-called celebrations always seem to involve too much meanspiritedness and poor taste, and not enough actual funny by far. That said, I'll be doing my best to stay offline for the next 24 hours in an effort to miss out on all the hilarious virtual antics. If it wasn't for work, I might hide in the house till Saturday. Our sick, sad world (you know, the one where bullemic Terri Schiavo was finally allowed to starve to death after 15 years of misery?) is cruel joke enough for me. Here's looking forward to skipping as much nastiness as I can and catching up with whatever actually fun pranks get pulled, but only after the fact on Saturday.
And hey, because it isn't too late yet in this time zone, happy birthday antonvowel.
Look at me, almost remembering on time...
Feb. 10th, 2005 02:16 pmHappy (day after your) Birthday, cabanasloth!
For some reason, iCal had it as today, but your LJ userinfo says otherwise. Maybe you've cleverly deceived me? The world may never know.

Jan. 4th, 2005 07:28 pmHappy birthday acapnotic!
Vegan molasses-ginger cookies are done, and chocolate cake (also vegan) is in the oven, scheduled to be done just in time to drive up to Portland, which leaves plenty of time for it to cool. Woohoo!
In which I am a big forgetful idiot.

Nov. 13th, 2004 02:57 pmHappy Birthday, pants_of_doom! I am wearing The Devil's Pants, but it was totally an accident until a few seconds ago, when I decided it was clearly my brain's way of honoring your birthday.

Sep. 24th, 2004 01:15 pmHappy Birthday, Andy olstad!
Also, dang! I reset my browse preference to the old-skool Dystopia style, and the Update Journal page is still ridiculous. I may have to start using an LJ client just to find something that accommodates my poor Spiffy's screen size, which is too narrow for this bigass text box. Sigh.
