They've got the Lord of the Rings pinball machine.

But maybe, just maybe, I tried to find the pinball machine on Amazon.com, so I could add it to my wish list....

Peter and I have wanted a pinball machine for a long time, but until the LoTR one came out, we didn't know which one. There's got to be a better way to get one than the Sharper Image, though. And (perhaps more importantly) we can save money and/or get more out of debt while we figure out that better alternative.

I might be making this up, but I think the LotR game is actually based on Medieval Madness. There's probably reviews or something online that can confirm or deny this vague memory of mine =)

I'm working on getting down to L.A. for the Mudder Millenium party, is that close enough to the pizza place? In fact, the Mudder Millenium party should include Lord of the Rings pinball as one of its star attractions, in case hanging out with friends we haven't seen in years isn't good enough. Hmmmm....

Um, so, but... I can't find the details anymore. I seem to vaguely recall that flying into LAX is better than flying into Ontario, but after that I don't even remember whose house it's at, and best of all New Year's Eve is on a Friday this year and I work Thursday-Saturday so it's time to start schedule-wrangling bigtime at work, yes indeedy.... (um, if you could post a link here or email more information to me, that would be most excellent).

My inner curmudgeon points out that sooner or later, cell phones will completely destroy advance plans, but dang. And now I feel all old and crotchety, yes it do.
