Totally random and kinda stupid but nonetheless true observation of the day:

Refrigerator magnets make a house a home. I can't really explain why, but I just took the magnets off the fridge at Patterson Street and it's like, well damn, we're really and truly out of here, no turning back now. And I'm sure putting magnets on the fridge at 12th Ave will help make that place seem that much more homey (last night I gave in and used stickum to attach a few postcards to it, since it was just so bare). There you have it: a weird, stupid, random, and yet totally true thought. Ok, time to head out now. Poor Iggy has been alone for nearly 12 hours --- who knows what havoc he may have wreaked? Wrought? Wrecked? Damn. I give up. The anal-retentive English teacher who lives in my forebrain seems to be out to lunch or something.

Wrought or wreaked.

Scratch that. I'm all wrong.

Wreaked, wroke, or wroken. I like wroken best. But wreaked is the only currently common one.

When I started moving in with [livejournal.com profile] 433, I put my magnets on the fridge as the decisive marking of my territory and statement that I would in fact be moving in.

My magnets are kana and these Books of Magic magnets Barb made me, and one from an old b movie.
