And so it begins.

Yesterday I made myself a Blogger account for the "letters I can't send" project. The address is: http://epistolography.blogspot.com and it's such a rough draft, but oh well. At least it's got me writing.

Woohoo!

I put you on my knitblog in the "My Friends' Blogs" section. Now it's not just Mike. I feel much more sociable!

My friends' blogs? Section? Oh man, I clearly have a lot to learn about the ways of Blogger. Mostly I chose it so I can export everything to another website someday if I want, and because the web address looks cooler than the one that would come with a livejournal paid account.

that's rather cool

Thanks. I'm pretty hopeful about this project, even though right now it just feels very first-drafty and embarrassing, to the point where I'm not allowing comments or even posting an email address with the blog. Still, I think taking this little risk with it will force me to work on it more than if I keep it a secret and work on it in private.

Hey,

Didja know that the McSweeneys website has a section dedicated to Open Letters to People or Entities Who are Unlikely to Respond?

And but so when I first mentioned this project to Peter he said "That sounds like the kind of thing McSweeney's would print," and that was a few months ago but now that you mention it I've already lost half an hour to reading ever so much McSweeney's and now I remember why it is I don't look at their website much. Go figure?

Yay for writing! That looks like a very neat project, and of course, any writing is a good thing.

Thanks dedi! I was going to figure out how to do this eventually, but you rock my world! Yay!
