I love Mother Kali's so much. I seem to remember them almost going out of business a few years back... it would be really sad if they actually went this time. They've really become a Eugenean artifact over the years. It's disheartening to see so many of those little bookstores and shops and such that I grew up with around town going under (or at least closing for any number of reasons). I almost cried when Sam's subshop closed this summer.
