not to defend the mall or anything but they had the shirts made custom at a shop there, so it's not like they were selling anti-war shirts at the gap and then kicking out the people who bought them.

but still it's one of the more retarded things i've heard lately. almost as retarded as "freedom fries."

I think "Freedom Toast" is worse. And apparently during WWI "German Measles" were renamed the "Liberty Measles". :-)

i didn't know about that, but i know for a fact that sauerkraut became "liberty cabbage" during WWI.
